What is Meta's Conversions API (CAPI)?

The Meta Conversions API (CAPI) for web events provides the ability to track first-party data from the advertiser’s website to Meta systems through server-to-server connections. This helps optimize ad targeting, decrease cost per result, and measure outcomes. Server events are linked to a dataset ID and are processed similarly to events sent via the Meta Pixel, which means that server events can be used for measurement, reporting, and optimization.​
